Jon Pelcin - Dedicated Student and Service Professional

Since January 2022, Jon Edward Pelcin has worked as a delivery driver for DoorDash, serving customers throughout New York and New Jersey. Jon Pelcin’s responsibilities include delivering restaurant meals and grocery orders, navigating delivery routes using GPS technology, maintaining order accuracy, and following customer instructions.

Before joining DoorDash, Jon Edward Pelcin worked as a customer service aide for Walmart in 2022, where he assisted customers, answered questions, and restocked returned merchandise. Earlier, he served as a sanitation station attendant at BJ's Wholesale Club during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jon Pelcin is pursuing an associate of arts degree in psychology at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York. His academic performance and leadership potential led to nominations to the National Society of Leadership and Success in both September 2024 and February 2025. The organization is recognized as the largest leadership honor society in the United States, with more than 800 chapters and over 2 million members nationwide.

Jon Pelcin graduated from Monroe-Woodbury High School in 2021 with a Regents Diploma. During high school, he actively participated in numerous extracurricular activities that reflected his diverse interests and leadership abilities. He was also a member of the concert band from 2017 through 2021, and participated in the pep band in 2019.

He competed on the cross-country team in 2018, and was a member of the Monroe-Woodbury Unified Basketball Team from 2019 through 2021. His leadership qualities were recognized when he was named captain of the Unified Basketball Team during the 2021 season.
